FLCPL's STORYBOOK TRAIL

About the Storybook Trail...

Made possible (in-part) by a grant received from the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation, we are proud to announce that our Storybook Trail is now open! Visit the library to see the current featured book Raindrops to Rainbow

"GELF partners with local community groups, libraries, city parks, and more to create an enriching outdoor reading experience for children and families to connect literacy with a fun, physical activity.

This program presents a children's storybook on child-height panels along a short trail to promote adult-child interaction around books and nature. Each panel features a reading tip to encourage family engagement by bringing the book to life for children" (GELF).
